BHS Christmas Concert ’09
I went to the 4:00pm performance, and I have to say, it was nothing like my high school days when I was on stage, especially the three years I was in The Blend. Still, I had a great time watching the performance. My sister, Kaiti, was originally supposed to sing with a group to open the concert like she did in the 2:00pm performance, but apparently it was decided that things would move smoother if the group didn’t do it the second time. It was a great experience hearing The Blend sing We Three Kings, especially since that is one of the songs that I sang with The Blend in my days. Apparently a disco ball was added in the renovations. While on the topic of renovations, I must say that I was rather displeased to find that there was hardly any visible difference from sitting in the auditorium. Apparently the stage’s wings were expanded and that was really the only large improvement made. It really is a shame that the school corporation does not feel that the choral department deserves to be invested in like the athletics department, when the choral department contains five competition-winning ensembles; The Madrigals, Spotlight Singers & Company, Bel Canto, The Blend, and Starlight Voices. Like I said, the performance was a great experience and I absolutely loved watching Mrs. Prather sing as well. As always, The Madrigals performed excellently with the Carol of Bells and their royal court. It was truly a rewarding visit to old BHS.

Daily Posting
I’m beginning to notice how difficult it is to daily post on a blog. Coming up with material that my readers would like to read about on a daily basis is definitely some what of a challenge, so I would like for my readers to possibly comment with suggestions as to topics to discuss. Thank you.

To Write Love On Her Arms
Today I managed to do a few more steps for my SocialVibe widget and raised the minutes of support for “To Write Love On Her Arms” from 8 to 26. I would really like to see my readers to help me in supporting “To Write Love On Her Arms”. It’s a great organization that is geared toward aiding teen girls going through eating disorders, cutting, and suicide. My eyes have been opened to the severity of this issue recently, which is one reason why I am supporting this so strongly. Please help me. One minute could be the difference between life and death, literally, and you could be the one to provide that minute. Thank you all.
Dates
I’ve added dates to my lyrics and poems now, so next to each title, there is the date that the work was written, if that date is known. It is showed in this format: Title of Work – (DD-MM-YY).
Also, I’ve started to support “To Write Love On Her Arms” with my blog and would very much appreciate your support as well. It is really simple and takes only a minute of your time. Just click on the widget to the right and write a positive note of encouragement, then send it. Seriously, that’s all you have to do to help me support them. However, in addition to this simple step, you can also proceed to do additional activities, earning more minutes and support. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in supporting “To Write Love On Her Arms”.
