A Girl Named Amy – (01-25-09)

A few months ago I did not know,
A girl so sweet named Amy.
Once we met my heart was set,
On this girl so lovely.

It’s so unfair I can’t be there,
To see her with my eyes.
Just to see her before me,
What a wondrous prize.

How I miss the sweet kiss,
I cannot get for real.
As with a hug I would be snug,
If only I could feel.

All of this I must miss,
Since she has a lover.
She has a Bo whose name is Joe,
Who better take care of her.

If he does break her heart or take,
Advantage of this girl,
Who’s so kind and in love’s bind,
And such a precious pearl.

I know that he will come to see,
What he did was wrong.
The one mistake he can’t unmake,
Will scar for oh so long.

For she will meet the man elite,
She was meant to find.
Happy they will be for all eternity,
Their ties will not unwind.

A few months ago I did not know,

But now I know about her so,
I can tell of her fondly.
