Dead End – (07-14-09)
At this dead end job, minimum wage isn’t worth the stress.
It doesn’t deserve me, nor does it my best.
Day by day I’m overworked and underpaid.
I wonder why I bother to stay.
Nine hours a day at seven thirty-five,
Isn’t anywhere near enouth to survive.
A change is in order, got to get out of this place.
Move on with my life at a different pace.
Won’t be burdened by dead weight,
Once I pass through a new gate.
I’m going to change my life, going to make things right.
Day will dawn on this dreadful night.
